The 6th Stage led to Rubiaes, a good 17 kilometers. The rain had softened the paths, preventing sneaker-wearers from advancing and causing small traffic jams. Most of the route was along the outskirts of the villages. The first physical challenge was crossing a mountain with over 520 meters of elevation. The weather cooperated, with only one rain shower. It was fresh, starting out at a cozy 9 degrees.
