Destination Stage

Today we initially walked about 5 kilometers back to the Camino, as my accommodation from yesterday was a bit off the main path. Then, it was just 8 kilometers to Santiago. The route took us through the outskirts of the city to the Cathedral of Santiago. The many people in the old town were a small culture shock compared to the relatively quiet pilgrimage path. My journey ended at the cathedral, where I received the final stamp and the Compostela, the certificate of pilgrimage.
