4th Stage

Today, on Palm Sunday, we traveled from Barcelos to Poiares, just under 20 kilometers. The path took us through small towns and beautiful landscapes in good weather. Many Portuguese dressed up and visited their churches, which were also decorated. A horse procession with about 100 horses and carriages attracted many spectators. With an elevation gain of 350 meters, this section was the most challenging so far. Other than a blister on my foot, everything is going well!👍
