Stage 2

Today we went to Rates, good 20 kilometers. It rained every single meter! Initially, we followed along the Atlantic to Vila do Conde, then through the city into the countryside. Passing by the aqueduct, we mainly walked along roads until we reached Rates. The hiking trails became impassable towards the end, so we had to take a detour. The stage ended at the church in Rates. According to the travel guide, this was the least attractive stage. Tomorrow we continue on the traditional path.
