Today was a very mixed day!?!?
Started off really well in the morning, relaxed breakfast and off on the bike. Around the corner from the Moselle and off we went along the Saar. It was going really well, great path, good legs up to Saarburg, a pretty town. Had a look around and then continued. 2 km behind Saarburg, took a photo of a sign, started riding again, weird!! Flat tire!! Probably the rear wheel 🙁🙁🙁
Tried everything, but nothing worked. Couldn't take out the rear wheel! I left my luggage with a nice lady and took a hike with the bike to Saarburg. My bike was ready at 4 pm and I still had 50 km to go. I flew over the Saar loop and arrived at my destination at 8:15 pm. I was immediately handed a drink and after the shower, we had a delicious barbecue.
