Actually, it should have been 75 km, somewhere around 20 km were added! Sometimes you're lucky and the bad weather comes right before a rest stop, wheat break! I briefly crossed the Rhine and stopped by haribo before. 😮🤪 Otherwise, it was nice but not exciting.
It's actually quite exciting to ride in a different state. In HH, we're not allowed to complain. Here, most of the roundabouts have a sidewalk you have to ride on and check if a car is coming! Often, the mini bike lane is right next to the car parked across. They probably haven't heard of dooring here 😙. I don't understand why there's still a mandatory bike sign here. There's no alternative, it can't get any worse. In HH, we want to get better!
