11 exciting days in 🇨🇦 are behind me! My journey took me from Montreal to Ottawa and then to Toronto.
This year, 🇨🇦 is celebrating its 150th anniversary🎉, Montreal is even celebrating its 375th. Accordingly, it was celebrated or rather celebrated.. food stalls, concerts, and festivals everywhere in the city. The people are open, friendly, and the drivers are very pedestrian-friendly, yes, that still exists😅
I continued my journey by bus to the capital, Ottawa. It wasn't until Montreal that I decided to visit this city. I was pleasantly surprised! In hindsight, it was a very good decision. I visited the Parliament from the inside, which will be closed to visitors for 10 years starting next summer due to renovation work. However, the highlight in Ottawa was the performance of 'La Machine', a story about a spider and a dragon, which was performed in the city for 4 days with giant robots. Finally, I went to Toronto. This city shows off its wealth with tall and modern buildings! The main reason for my trip to this city was honestly the Niagara Falls, which are nearby. It was THE highlight in 🇨🇦! Toronto is more like an American city with all its big buildings. Of course, a must-visit here is the CN Tower, where you can overlook the whole city. All in all, 🇨🇦 was much better and more beautiful than I thought, this was my first visit, but certainly not the last!
