Cambodia - Angkor

Flying from Bangkok to Siem Reap to see the first part of Angkor in unbearable heat and humidity in the afternoon. Simply overwhelming experience.

The place is overly touristy, but there were nice people in the hostel. The next day, I drove out to Bantarey Srei, a small delightful temple.

Had the wrong food in the evening, because I got sick with my stomach and intestines. Survived halfway with tablets, even though I took a boat towards Battambang over the Tonlé Sap, a huge lake in Cambodia.

Hence, I am spending two nights here until I am fully recovered.
