After Mildura we travelled south to Adelaide where we enjoyed some wine tasting in the Barossa Valley. We visited the German Village Hahndorf and took the tram down to Glenelg for some beach time.
Overall we had some fabulous last days, especially the beautiful sunset on Mt Lofty was very memorable.
Freezing on the top of the mountain as we waited for the sun to appear under the clouds, we saw a horny cangaroo chasing its mate.
In a brand new plane we had a smooth flight to New Zealand where we took over a Cruzy campervan. It is a similar car as the one we had in Australia with a slightly different interior.
Since the weather forecast was not so good we changed our plans and went instead of north to the south.
The Waitoma caves were amazing. Millions of glowworms made out of a black cave a sky full of stars. The light was even reflecting on the river.
Down the coast we visited the 'perfect' volcano - Mt Taranaki. We did some walking in the marvelous forests.
