By now it has proven to be worth it for us to continue to the next stage after dinner. So we drove from Boston to Portland.
Portland slowed us down after all the stress of the big city. The city is located right on the Atlantic Ocean and the waves crash against the rocky coasts. We can watch the spectacle for hours while the kids enjoy throwing stones into the water.
In the center of the city, we looked for people in vain. Complete peace and quiet here too. We parked right next to a laundromat and took care of the dirty laundry first. After that, we walked along the eastern prom Trail, which is a beautiful hiking trail right along the coastline, once around the city. Along the way, we came across an old and beautifully restored train that was ready for viewing.
A beautiful dreamy day comes to an end at the playground.
