Mother's Day

The whole clan is on the edge of the soccer field cheering for Aya. She plays great again this week, scoring 2 goals. In the end, the team just can't quite make it, resulting in a 4:4... Gotti is a bit lost at the beginning, cheering when the opposing team scores, while Mamina is on cloud nine - there's an attractive man in his 40s who keeps stealing glances at her 😂. Tanti sneaks in during halftime, first passing out cookies that she received as a gift and can't keep at home due to her little extra pounds.

The adult women's group then heads to the Peruvian restaurant. Mamina has pain in her foot and comes limping in barefoot. Next to her, Tanti: The Hobbit look is perfected 🧌. Everything feels authentic, bringing on a holiday adventure vibe 😜. The time management is also genuine, waiting an hour for drinks is normal. Oh, glasses for the 1-liter bottle?! Overrated. Another 15 minutes. Gotti is already drinking from the bottle, Mamina quenches her thirst with beer and unpacks little packages. Her mood rises. The food is good, but it certainly doesn't deserve the label 'Best in the World'. In the picture, everything looks lovingly arranged, but in reality, it’s sloppily put together. We laugh hysterically, wait forever for everything, receive 1 coffee when 3 were ordered and the extra salad dressing will come, but unfortunately this time it arrives totally unpalatable with a splash of 'something'. I am tolerant and can excuse a lot, but this was really not a great restaurant visit! Mom sees my drawing talent in the children's drawing from Lala and Nana ('Aww, did you draw that👹'), but is happy with the gift madness.

Later, everyone is dropped off at home, enjoying the peace on the way back. Car opened, backpack out... Wait, where is my backpack?!?!?! TANTI... Nicely, she helps Mom unload all the bags and apparently packs a bit too enthusiastically 🙈.

End of the story: She drives up to us - sweet to the core, as already mentioned 😄.
