Trip to the Middle Ages

On Sunday, August 13, 2023, a journey back in time to the Middle Ages was on the agenda. It wasn't that far away... at least for this weekend. ;-) The Planwiese in Telgte was fully occupied with traders, craftsmen, army camps, jesters and other characters. There was so much to see and try!

Various musicians entertained everyone. Knights performed a tournament and showed off their impressive skills.

It was nice to finally smell the Middle Ages again after Corona!

Events from Anno have always been a guarantee for an authentic medieval feeling. Unfortunately, the quality has actually deteriorated a bit now. Maybe one can overlook a dragon as a highlight for entertaining the children, but sneakers or combat boots as part of the costume were not the standard in Anno so far. And some things were more like a fantasy spectacle... What a pity!
