I slept well, despite what felt like 3 snorers from 10 pilgrims. I woke up at 6 a.m. and shortly afterwards the lights would be switched on and you would be woken up by monastery chants, much to the discomfort of the others. I quickly packed up my things and set off. As a farewell, I was allowed to take a banana with me. So I set off shortly before 7 in the dark and was glad that I had my headlamp with me, because the first part led through a forest. And it was fresh too, but dry. The path went quite well. Not so many meters in altitude and still beautiful views and also many forest paths. A few animals were disturbed at breakfast and otherwise we only met one group of pilgrims who were only traveling for one day. And picked up a coffee to go along the way. Coffee works wonders for me. Afterwards I'm automatically in a good mood. Shortly after 11 I was in Zubiri and took a half-hour break so that I could make the journey to Pamplona with renewed strength. I actually wanted a café, but since the sun was out, I decided on the bench in the sun. I already had a coffee and can get it on the way or in Pamplona.
