We picked up the campervan in Christchurch in the morning and headed to our first destination after some shopping. The Gondola is a cable car to a mountain near the city with a great view.

Once we got back down, we drove towards Lake Tekapo, our first night in the camper was quite tight. 😂😂

We left early to see the mountain lake with its incredible blue color, the water was icy, the wind was strong, and the weather was changeable. Fortunately, no rain there. Then we passed Lake Pukaki to reach our second overnight site. We watched the opening match of the World Cup during dinner and then went to bed very tired.

It was a tiring day today. 😢😢😢
