Groundhog Day

After a restful night, we finally continued. We left Holzgau behind us and headed towards the Memminger Hütte. Luckily, this hut had a material cable car, so we could send our backpacks up to 2248m and then comfortably start the 3-hour hike without luggage. We crossed countless streams and waterfalls. On the last kilometer before the hut, we also saw dozens of groundhogs. When we arrived, we had a typical snack, Leberkäse (meatloaf) with bread and mustard. This refreshment was good. After eating, the girls went to shower and I set off again. Hoping for a good view and some cellphone reception, I wanted to climb the summit of the next mountain. After a 45-minute walk and some steep climbing spots, I am now sitting up here at the summit cross and enjoying the breathtaking view.
