Days 6 and 7

On New Year's Eve, we visit the rum distillery Trois Rivières in Sainte-Luce. Unfortunately, there are no tours available in German, and Spanish wasn't quite our thing either. So we take a little stroll along the railing and check out the old retired machines and the garden. Afterwards, we head to a very beautiful beach - Les Anses-d'Arlet - where we might see water turtles. This beach is one of the most beautiful I've seen so far. Babsi is lucky and spots a turtle - although only from above - but that confirms their presence there. I go swimming with a diving mask and snorkel and see some colorful fish. We stay until the fascinatingly beautiful sunset. Afterwards, we head back to our accommodation. At midnight, fireworks light up the sky. We stay on the terrace enjoying cider and playing cards.

Today was a relaxation day - we spend a beach day here in Saint-Anne. A bit of relaxation, and in the morning we will head further north.
