Tag 13

Today is an exciting day, as in the evening friends of Babsi are supposed to come over. We read the first reports of flight delays and cancellations due to snow chaos in Paris, and we also receive updates that their flights are late. We are all quite curious about when the planes will arrive.

The beach St. Anne Beach, which we are visiting today, is a very popular and beautifully laid-out beach. Here we can take out our snorkeling gear again and see many, many different fish. Big and small, in various colors. The water is so warm that you don't want to get out. After another coffee and waffles, we head all the way to the last corner of Saint-Francios. This place seems to be in a deep slumber. There is no open establishment, just two small eateries. It's not worth it to linger there, so we head back to Le Goiser for dinner. Back at our accommodation, we receive a message from Marianne that she is now at the airport; Johannes is coming on a different flight. She sounds a bit desperate, as her luggage didn't travel with her. Oh dear, I've experienced that too. We drive to the airport, and she is glad we are there. It's not worth it to go back to the apartment now, so we wait until Johannes arrives with his luggage. We squeeze into our Renault Clio with four people. At 11:45 PM, we drop her off at her hotel, which is right next to our apartment.
