We continue to the Golden Triangle. Along the road, we find many pineapple fields that have plants already bearing small fruits. There is also a lot of corn, rice, manjok, and other vegetables grown on huge fields. By noon, we arrive in the town of Chiang Sean Wiang, where we check into the Hotel Imperial for two nights. Our rooms have a beautiful view of the Mekong. We look to the right and see Laos, and straight ahead is Burma, which is now called Myanmar. We take a small boat to sail along a section of the Mekong.
