Day 2: Riedlingen - Dillingen

Published: 02.05.2024

This morning I was the first at breakfast at 7 a.m. By 8:30 a.m. I was already on my bike, and amazingly I didn't notice any traces from the day before. Neither in my bum nor in my legs. I went via Munderkingen (a really strong place name), Ehingen, Ulm (you can see the Ulm Minster in the background of the photo) to Dillingen.

On the way I met Aaron, who is cycling from Kaiserslautern (via a detour) to Berlin. He is an FCK fan and has tickets for the DFB Cup final. He is also cycling along the Danube to Regensburg, so maybe I'll see him again.

I've booked another room in a guesthouse for tonight, as I don't have to buy a new sleeping bag, but my dad will bring it to me tomorrow with the Deutschlandticket to Donauwörth (thanks in advance, cheers to the pensioners! :)) But given the weather forecast for tonight, I'm also very happy not to have to sleep in a tent.
