Vacation in Madrid

Before my adventure in Costa Rica begins, I decided to spend 2 more days in Madrid. First of all, the cheapest flight to San Jose was via Madrid anyway, and secondly, a few days of relaxation after the last stressful weeks are certainly not wrong.

As luck would have it, the couple from the wedding, just before my departure, was also in Madrid, so we met for dinner on my first evening.

On my second day in Madrid, I explored the city a bit and strolled through the streets and various parks.

She lives in Madrid and was able to meet me. We walked through the streets of Madrid together. We had a lot to talk about, after all, we haven't seen each other in ages. Our walk took us to a small hill, and at that moment, the sun set.

Afterwards, we continued to stroll through the city until we got hungry and then went in search for a restaurant.

It was great to see her again, and it also shows that traveling connects people. It's nice to know people all over the world and visit them as well.
