Today we had perfect weather, a little rain, but otherwise top-notch.🌞
So we set out to embark on another hike.
This time we headed to Camasunary Bay. Located in the southwest, so not much driving.
Since there was a distillery signposted on the way, we spontaneously stopped by again. The smell in the parking lot, mmm...
Very nice building and interesting information about whiskey, we liked it better than Talisker yesterday.
Then we continued to the starting point of our hike.
A short, fairly good path turned into a steep, winding scree climb. But the views were overwhelming. The path basically led over a mountain down to the bay. The view from the summit was insanely beautiful and we were alone.
Great interplay of colors between water, rocks and sky. We could have spent hours there.
Arriving in the bay, we collected stones and enjoyed the view. Eye candy.
Nature has really made an effort to impress here, and it succeeded.
The way back was also sweaty, but no less spectacular. Luckily, the jump over the stream went well too...
All in all, a great experience!
Today we had reserved a table at the Harbour Restaurant. But since we arrived a little earlier, we quickly devoured fish and chips and scampi and chips next door. It should have been just 2 coffees.🫢
In the restaurant, we had mussels, lamb, and spare ribs. All delicious.
And the single malt from Tobahaig for dessert was a nice finish. 🥃
So Dine also excelled in driving on the left. Passed with flying colors.🏅🎈
What a beautiful day.
Stay tuned!
