Campfire, fishing, Town Beach
Camping at Cable Beach has still been going well. However, this will only be possible until 01.10., as the nesting season of the turtles begins and the beach is closed to cars.
We have spent the last few days with Elodie and Enzo, a French couple we met here at the beach. =) They are really nice and we hope to meet them again on our further journey, as they are heading in the same direction as us. Unfortunately, they are leaving a bit earlier than us.
We made campfires, went to the Town Beach, and went fishing from the Jetty. =) From the Jetty, we even saw turtles. =) The beach where we camped was temporarily closed as a few crocodiles were spotted and had to be caught before the beach could be reopened. To not just broil in the sun during the days, we drove to Cape Leveque, a beach that is said to be wonderful and there is Aboriginal land and everything is inhabited by indigenous people. We don't have much else to tell, we are still waiting for our friends, who will probably arrive here on 30.09.
