Waterfalls and gorges up close

After a long drive (700km), we reached Karijini NP. This NP is said to be one of the most beautiful in Australia.

The 'attractions' were the gorges, waterfalls, and pools in the gorges.

We spent two wonderful days here, and perhaps these were the most beautiful days of our entire trip. We swam in crystal clear water in front of waterfalls, sat under waterfalls, climbed in gorges, and felt like we were in a rainforest at times.

It is impossible to put everything into words, and even in the pictures, it does not come across as impressive as it really was. On the second day, we met a nice German couple with whom we hiked all day. It was incredibly fun. In one gorge, we had to hike a Class 5 trail (for advanced hikers). Of course, we couldn't imagine much about it, but when we climbed over water with our hands and feet against the wall, we were initially somewhat confused. Just take a look at the pictures!
