Haverdal

We spent the morning with the Hamburgers in Skärhamn. We really got along well and were a little sad that we had to continue our journey. The kids really blossomed in company. Otherwise, they only have us parents and the conversations about God and the world were good for us too.

Nevertheless, we continued our journey at lunchtime, because we have to be in Trelleborg on Wednesday in order to catch our ferry on Thursday morning. Our route along Sweden's beautiful west coast led us to a forest car park near Haverdal. It took us only about 10 minutes to get to the beach. We walked through lush sand dunes to the turbulent water. The beach was very clean and spacious - truly a wonderful place on earth. Since it was very windy, we went for a walk and enjoyed the sun.
