A little later than usual, the blog comes straight from the Big Apple. Today, thanks to a late check-out and a few extra dollars, we were able to stay in our villa until 4pm and enjoyed the Caribbean sun, the beach, and the sea one last time. Shortly after, our driver was already waiting for us and took us to the Cancun airport. Our flight took off at 7:20pm and three and a half hours later, we landed at Newark Airport in New Jersey. From there, we took a taxi with a nice and fortunately quite strong (our suitcases are really heavy) driver to Manhattan and our hotel "Hyatt Centric Times Square". But since we weren't particularly tired after checking in and unpacking our suitcases, it was almost one o'clock in the morning, we went out again to Times Square, which, as the name of our hotel suggests, is right around the corner. And because we are in the city that never sleeps, there was still a lot going on even in the middle of the night.
It is now 2:15, we are back at the hotel, in our room on the 38th floor, we are a bit exhausted and tired, but looking forward to what awaits us here on the last stop of our world trip.
