Last day in our beloved San Francisco. We could have stayed here longer, but the Caribbean is already waiting ☀️🏝😉. So this morning we ironed again and packed our suitcases again before we made another detour into the city. This time our destination: the most famous street in San Francisco, Lombard Street, which is probably the most winding street in the world (in relation to the distance). Cars snake through 10 curves on 145 meters on Russian Hill. Since we were there on foot, we simply used one of the stairways that led down parallel to it. And because we wanted to buy some souvenirs, we went down to the bay, where we found quite a few 🤣🤣.
Shortly after 3 p.m., the taxi picked us up, driven by a very nice and talkative Ukrainian from Dnepropetrovsk, which took us quickly to the airport, where our flight to Denver started at 6 p.m.
And now we're sitting here at the Denver/Colorado airport near the Rocky Mountains in the Business Lounge, waiting for our onward flight to Cancun. Again with United Airlines, probably the worst airline in the world. We're really looking forward to it 😖😖. Well... Playa del Carmen will surely make up for it more than enough ☀️.
