Guess who's writing again for a change? Yes, Elisa!
On August 13th, we went to Huelva, just as a stopover, the place where Columbus began his journey to America. Since I covered all of this last school year, I naturally had a complete understanding. 😎
Then we went to a really cheap museum (well, it was more like a big room with stuff and an exit to a big lake...) and on that lake, the three ships of Columbus had been recreated in their original size! All of them were accessible and Amy and I naturally explored everything. Around the lake, there were also the 'houses' of the natives, actually just small wooden huts, which I think the adults found more interesting than us kids.
Grabbed a quick bite to eat (we were the only ones having chicken nuggets and fries at 12 o'clock 🤣, the others were more like having breakfast) and then took a quick look back into the room I mentioned earlier. The others didn't find it as exciting and went on to the shop, while I took a look at things like Columbus' will and diary. How could the others get out so quickly!?
Ignorant in history ...
