26.12.2017 - Volcan Irazu and Orosi Valley

Today we visited the Irazu volcano and the Orosi Valley in the east. It's about 100 km away from the hotel, but the round trip took a whopping 5 hours due to the heavy traffic in the densely populated region around the capital city of San Jose....

Nevertheless, it was worth it, especially since we caught the only 10-minute fog break of the day at the volcano....and in the Orosi Valley, you feel like you're in Switzerland and everywhere there is only one color.....Green!
