15.01.2018 Let's go home

I actually didn't want to make another entry, but the return trip was quite eventful. On the eve of departure, there was a tropical storm and it rained and rained and rained... for hours on end...

The journey back to the airport was difficult... we had to remove a tree ourselves... others had already been taken care of... in addition, we had to pass through flooded streets in some places and make detours due to road closures. The 200 km trip ultimately took 8 hours, but eventually, every crappy situation comes to an end...

Arriving in cold, but at least sunny Frankfurt am Main, life goes on : - )
