01.01.2018 - New Year at Montezuma Playa

The first day of the new year was also very quiet. We drove to Montezuma Playa nearby, which I found slightly nicer overall.

We walked to the waterfalls there in front of the beach, ignoring the warning of not wearing sandals or flip flops, but somehow it worked.

There was already some action up there, but bathing in the waterfall was amazing...

The rest of the day was spent at the beach, enjoying a very relaxed 30 degrees in the shade and the beautiful, clean, warm sea, sipping on an ice-cold coconut...

The new year has started well here, tomorrow we will continue to the jungle in the north...
