Today we hiked in the national park through the jungle to the cold lava streams from the 1992 eruption. The path also led past a 400-year-old Ceiba tree. After lunch in a traditional 'Soda', we treated ourselves to a cool-down at the La Fortuna Waterfall. After climbing 530 steps back, we started sweating again. Therefore, we spent the rest of the day at the pool :).
A cozy day is coming to an end and it's time to go to sleep. In Costa Rica, residents go to bed very early as the sun sets at 6:00 pm. However, everyone is awake at 6 o'clock in the morning. We have adapted to this rhythm :).
