We are currently on the train to Faro. From there we go back to Germany very early tomorrow.
So our journey is coming to an end. It's a shame, we would have liked to stay a little longer. We really liked the Algarve with its beautiful coast, small fishing villages, delicious food and relaxed attitude to life (despite all the adversities and capricious weather).
Our last stop, Lagos, had everything to offer that excited us so much. We would have loved to buy a little house here...
But we had to make do with smaller purchases: port wine for our new favorite drink Port-Tonic, Portuguese tiles and locally produced sustainable clothing. The art was available free of charge in the form of street art.
We end our vacation with a crying and a laughing eye. Crying because we couldn't hike as much as we wanted. And laughing because we still had a great time in a great place and returned full of inspiration.
