Wow, Valparaiso impressed us immediately.
Small colorful houses, all built on hills, surround the harbor. Narrow streets, stairway canyons, street art wherever you look, and many small cafes and restaurants give the colonial city its charm.
We trade our camper for a hostel and enjoy a warm shower and a real bed. We spend the day strolling around, drinking coffee, and having dinner in a nice little restaurant with various types of ceviche - a Chilean specialty of raw fish marinated in lemon juice - very tasty!
