A day at the beach

So... as announced, we lazied around at the beach today. So now we're competing with the lobster here. Although... it's blue before boiling (lobster bleu is famous here)... so now we're looking at the regular lobster. Which means we're lighting up the apartment without electricity. Sunburn at its best...

It was still nice. The sea was 'soooooooooo cold'. Once you got in, it was okay though. After that, the other food supplier went searching for rocks in the nearby cliffs (hunter & gatherer and all...) and I dozed off. Teewurst had to guard the apartment. Sausages are not allowed on the beach here. He'll have to go through it. Tomorrow there will be more entertainment.

After we got rid of the ton of sand from our clothes and everything else, we sat by the sea for a bit. The weather here in Brittany is often fascinating. You can really feel how you're getting sunburned, but also freezing because of the wind (just like skiing). At the beach, we noticed a sign that said something about 'Happy Hour'. Since we wanted to enjoy the sun a bit longer anyway, that suited us very well. However, we were thinking of the usual Happy Hour. It turned out to be the French version: Order 2 cocktails and get a sausage as well (by the way, really good salami!). Great! Dinner included!

After the French Happy Hour, we're now crashing on the couch to be ready for the next hike tomorrow! Of course with the good apple juice ;)
