Day 23: Sofia. Day 24: Danube riverbank

Yesterday, we had the early farewell party. Unfortunately, I couldn't write a blog anymore ;-(

Before that, we went on a city tour in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria. A modern city with extreme contrasts of new and old, renovated and decayed, poor and rich ....

Today, we went to Romania. The border crossing was even more adventurous than on the way there. But the roads are better now. We are now standing idyllically on the Danube riverbank. Unfortunately, the weather has worsened since.

We will skip the last stop, Timișoara. We will leave the group one day earlier tomorrow and go directly to Hungary.
