The breakfast at the Country Hotel Baikal was probably the worst in our lives. For coffee, you had to pour hot water into your cup and add instant coffee. Maybe a picture to go with it, and then we'll try to forget about breakfast:
Afterwards, we walked around several places to find a new accommodation, but without much success, until we found something usable. No kitchen and all in one room, but clean and cozy. We'll stay here for two nights before moving on.
(We're looking for an apartment)
Then we walked to Listvyanka and had a satisfying traditional Russian lunch. There was shashlik, plov, and piroshki. Afterwards, we went back to the market and bought groceries for dinner. The highlight was the traditional Baikal fish, the omul. We bought it smoked and had it for dinner. Really delicious! (A picture will be added, it won't be the last time we eat omul)
After dinner, we played Dominion and drank beer.
This morning, 08/25, we had a very traditional breakfast at our accommodation. Kasha (semolina porridge) and aladushki (pancakes). Now we're discussing how we want to spend the day.
Greetings from Listvyanka
