Have you ever had to undergo a root canal treatment? It sounds so harmless, but especially the part when the nerve is killed is very painful and felt like electric shocks. My whole body tensed up. Normally, I'm not that sensitive to pain at the dentist; I almost never get an injection. But now it’s behind me, and I’m glad about that. And yes, it is somehow part of the preparations for my long journey.
