Arrival on Wednesday, May 8th

After a good 4.5 hours' drive, I arrive at the clinic; in the small forecourt, construction machines are at work redesigning the site - it doesn't look particularly relaxing. At least I can park here for a moment to unload the car...

The ladies at the reception greet me in a friendly (!) manner and provide me with the necessary information and keys. I particularly appreciate the advice to go for lunch straight after the brief registration! ;-) The food is fresh and delicious.

My room on the 2nd floor is clean and bright and offers enough space and comfort for the next few weeks. I think the hand-painted personal welcome picture on the door is great! As I later found out, this way of welcoming newcomers is purely an initiative of the patients on this ward! ;-)) Great idea!

The outdoor area behind the clinic is also beautifully designed; unfortunately, due to construction work, access there is currently somewhat restricted (and involves detours...).

Also not unimportant: in the basement of the house there is a table tennis table and a pool table; using them is even free. So, apart from the construction work, only good news!
