Today I am leaving the 4.5 million inhabitant metropolis Sydney and heading to Adelaide, which is much smaller with just under 1.2 million inhabitants than Sydney, but is known as a cultural center.
The national airport in Sydney is really modern, lots of shops - it actually looks like an international terminal, only much quieter than in Europe or the USA. In the furthest corner I find the new Mustang 2019 - even if the color is unusual...


My plane takes off around noon - today Sydney is a bit grey...

The grey sky doesn't clear up over Adelaide either - but what stands out from the plane is how green - compared to Sydney - the surroundings of Adelaide are...















But the evening ends very positively - I find a small cozy Italian restaurant with excellent food and a fine red wine...
I have a nightcap at the Roof Top Bar of my hotel and am looking forward to a great day tomorrow in the wineries of the Barossa Valley...
