From Sydney to Adelaide...

Today I am leaving the 4.5 million inhabitant metropolis Sydney and heading to Adelaide, which is much smaller with just under 1.2 million inhabitants than Sydney, but is known as a cultural center. The national airport in Sydney is really modern, lots of shops - it actually looks like an international terminal, only much quieter than in Europe or the USA. In the furthest corner I find the new Mustang 2019 - even if the color is unusual... The Mustang 2019... My plane takes off around noon - today Sydney is a bit grey... The sky over Sydney [/uploads/189d9550-c703-11e8-b05c-69bee93cc9ad.JPG_large.jpg]The sky over Sydney The grey sky doesn't clear up over Adelaide either - but what stands out from the plane is how green - compared to Sydney - the surroundings of Adelaide are... A lot of green below me... The recommendation I receive is very good. Besides the certainly very nice cultural opportunities, I don't necessarily think you have to see Adelaide - but I have to say: my trip here is for the purpose of going on a guided tour to the Barossa Valley tomorrow - one of THE wine regions in Australia... Of course including visits to several wineries and tastings... :-)Whatever that building is... I have a nightcap at the Roof Top Bar of my hotel and am looking forward to a great day tomorrow in the wineries of the Barossa Valley...
