Phew, what a day!
We got up one and a half hours before sunrise to be on time at the Uluru Sunrise Viewing Area, had breakfast, hiked and walked through the Kata Tjutas, visited several viewpoints, and watched the sunset at the Kata Tjutas. The day was amazing, both in terms of experiences and physically. Now we are exhausted. Just dinner and then off to bed.
Our first highlight today was the sunrise at Uluru. It is something special, especially since the rock shows much more

Die Landschaft ist hier schon einzigartig, und manchmal hat man sie sogar ganz für sich alleine. Die Ruhe und Einsamkeit war eine starke Motivation für dieses Reiseziel.
Aber euch scheint es auf Kreta ja auch sehr gut zu gehen. Da müssen wir auch noch hin…
