Arrival in the Top End

After a short night in the apartment hotel in Darwin, we headed to RedSands, our car rental company, at 8:15 AM.

The handover was very professional and thorough. The only thing we didn't try out was the gas connection on the stove, and that one is leaking. Let's see when and where we can get it repaired…

After picking up the car, we did a big grocery shop at Coles in Coolalinga.

Shortly after sunset, we arrived tired at the campground by the Florence Falls in Litchfield National Park. A first glimpse of the falls sparks excitement for the morning.

After dinner, we chatted for an hour with our neighbors. A young couple: Maori warrior and musician. Very entertaining.
