After enjoying 4 nights at Wilsons Prom, it was time to travel some kilometers. After all, we want to eventually arrive in Sydney! We ended up at the secluded Echo Point Caravan Park near Bairnsdale. We were the only camping guests! From there, it was just a short walk to one of the most important spiritual places for Aboriginal women: The Den of Nargun. After a couple coming towards us told us that they almost stepped on a Red Bellied Black Snake, our progress became somewhat hesitant. The place itself is not as exciting in the dry season, as the associated waterfall is missing. Nevertheless, there was a special atmosphere there. In the evening, we had our first campfire.
