SO off we go again. We had planned to surf for three days. Due to storms, we could only surf for two days. And it only cost 30 euros for two days of rental, which was really good!
At the end, our arms were heavy with fatigue and our sinuses were filled with saltwater.
There was also a little complication--no, not sharks, no jellyfish, and no crocodiles. Let's just say that one part of our travel group burned calories diligently for two whole days. The other part also burned, but mainly their own skin. So Caro had to skip most of the time.
Despite applying sunscreen.. It failed to work and its components separated apparently... So annoying. On the second day, we continued with long pants and some stomach discomfort when lying down ^^.
Afterwards, we headed to Brisbane and caught the ferry to Moreton Island. Just off the island, some wrecks from the 60s were dumped to create an artificial reef for tourists. We mentioned it in our previous blogs because we couldn't visit back then due to Caro's kidney infection.
Pictures speak louder than words:
In short: We will probably never visit such a beautiful snorkeling spot again.
