"The wise learn from everything and everyone, the normal from their experiences, and the fool knows everything better."
Last year while hiking in Piedmont, we learned from an experienced mountain and hiking guide that a rest day should be planned into the tour no later than 3 days. Therefore, our day off today was planned from the beginning.
After a leisurely breakfast, we set off on a discovery tour of Bad Tölz. As I turn into a side street, I feel a tug on my arm. "Look, here's a men's hairdresser." It was immediately clear to me that there was no point in arguing, because anyone who has seen me in the past few weeks knows the urgency of a haircut. Lion's Barbershop - spontaneous and courageous, even though I don't have a trendy full beard, I go into the shop. My hope that there won't be any free appointments here in the next few days is immediately shattered. Please have a seat. I surrender to my fate and trust in the skills of Omar, the hairdresser from Syria, who has significantly less hair than I do. He is a master of his craft and does what he can, that's all I can expect.
Further insight: if your nose is running - please use a tissue discreetly and avoid rubbing your entire hand from bottom to top across your face (also doesn't look good)
Well, everyone can do as they please......
Tomorrow our stage takes us up the Isar, over Lake Achensee into the Inn Valley, to Innsbruck and a bit further towards the Brenner Pass.
