Why Cairo

Why I was often asked about Cairo.. to be honest, I didn't choose it at all

 I've been searching for volunteer opportunities on Facebook this summer and then a post from a group for Germans abroad showed up in my newsfeed

In recent years, I've met people traveling who work remotely, and I've wished I could find an opportunity as well

Now it has found me. I looked at the group a bit and found a job advertisement in a nursery. They have two locations, and I applied for the second one by the Red Sea. I've wanted to go there since January. As I nostalgically searched on the last evening in the Galapagos for snorkeling opportunities in Europe or nearby

There are currently no vacancies. So now I am waiting at the airport for my flight to Cairo, specifically to Maadi, and I am leaving on Wednesday
