Tag 50: Municipal Zoo

This morning, our host family took us to visit Curitiba's zoo. Most of the animals in the zoo come from poor conditions, neglected zoos, and circuses. Admission is free, the weather is beautiful, and the park is very large. After our two-hour walk through the zoo, we stopped by Parque Barigui on our way home to enjoy another walk and delicious chocolate churros. Later, we all met up with Juliana and her husband for a fun evening at a very good burger joint.
