San Miguel de Tucumán

.... our next destination, about 4 hours bus ride from Catamarca. The only remarkable thing about this city is the huge pedestrian zone that stretches over several 'cuadras'. One shop, café, market stall, restaurant after another. In between, countless passages full of shops. The majority of the population (the city has almost 1/2 million inhabitants) seems to flock here, ... and the delicious 'Lomo', see picture, that we ate here.

From here, we will continue by rental car.
