Sarapiqui ... Tirimbina Lodge

Yesterday I had to get up early again, as there was a hike through the rainforest with animal observations... After a rich and very delicious breakfast, we started... Luckily, the rain had stopped, but since the small paths in the rainforest were very muddy, we were given rubber boots... After crossing the suspension bridge over the river (it was quite shaky and high), we hiked through the rainforest for about 4 hours with rubber boots... It was very impressive!! However, the animals were very well hidden. In the end, we saw some toucans, parrots, monkeys, and a sloth... But it was difficult to photograph them with my mobile phone camera... But I can only say that sloths are really surreal...

In the afternoon, we went rafting. Unfortunately, I couldn't participate due to my back, so I went ahead with Edgar (the bus driver) and waited for the group at a very beautiful location... The rafting must have been great, and I was a bit annoyed that I couldn't join...

In the evening, some of us went to a restaurant. It was muy rico.... Now I'm sitting with my packed backpack... We're heading to the Arenal Volcano next... We will hike for about 4 hours there. Then we're going to La Fortuna to the next accommodation...
