'At the beginning, you need courage to be happy in the end.'
It's striking 12 again!
Starting tomorrow, I begin my third adventure as a scout on AIDAluna with a flight from Leipzig via Frankfurt to New York City. With a full crew, AIDAluna is a ship of the medium-sized Sphinx class (designation according to AIDA) - about 2050 guests and approximately 600 crew members. I'm looking forward to seeing familiar faces on board (since I already know some of my colleagues from the last ship assignment) and many exciting days and captivating cultures on land that I will get to know during the tours. This time my work takes me to North America, where we will be until the beginning of November, as well as to the Caribbean. Jamaica, the Dominican Republic, the Cayman Islands, Mexico, Belize, and Honduras are on our itinerary. For me, it's a new piece of the earth that I eagerly anticipate and (gladly) give up the winter in Germany for the next four months! ;-)
With a crew visa for the states in my luggage, I begin my journey into the 'Unknown'. After some time and space since the last ship experience, which ended in February, I have been able to gather new strength for the coming time. I found the past time on board AIDAbella to be very busy and intense, as we felt like we took a half-world trip with the ship. This time, I hope to have more creative freedom again, so that I can share my upcoming discoveries and experiences with you more and fully immerse myself in the beauty of this world! Once again, no Christmas at home - unfortunately, you can't have everything. The more I'm looking forward to seeing close friends from the last ship again and continuing to travel the world.
The next update will be with a time difference of - 6 hours. Until then! Stay tuned!
