Quite a lot of view

Published: 27.08.2020

Despite the soggy air, we set off to get a little view of the Lofoten Islands. We should actually discover them at Leinesfjord. Perhaps with eagle eyes... Instead, the mountain surprises us with a nice lake where we take a break.

In the evening, we spend the night near two geese (or swans, scientists are undecided about that). In Leiknes, you can admire life-size animals drawn a very long time ago. What the Germans recognize as cave or rock art, the Norwegians call mountain art. It's eerie to think about how long these drawings have survived.

Just a reminder... It's August 12th when we reach Leiknes.

When you're on the road like this, the days fly by. It feels like it's all been ages ago. And our entries are not up to date either. We're sorry for that, but without fast Wi-Fi, we can't upload as many pictures. Also, we lost track of time during this period. More or less. Sort of.

Have we been on the road for days or weeks? Isn't almost a month over? Honestly, it doesn't matter anymore. Time loses its relation and merges into many memories. And that's why here's another outlook: we will reach the Lofoten Islands. And it will rain.
